I brought my copy of "I am You, You are Me" (along with numerous other children's books) for my 6 week trip to Montana to read at night to my 3 year old niece. I had no idea this would end up being her favorite! Every night I asked which book she would like to read, and she would respond the same "the LOVE book please"--she called decided to rename it that. After about a dozen times reading it together, Stella had a friend sleep over and I overheard her "reading" the book to her friend! Keep in mind, Stella at 3 cannot read--but the words in Anu's beautiful book, coupled with her artwork, were memorized and perfectly recited to Stella's 3 year old friend that night. The joy this book has brought to my family can only be expressed with these words--Love, Joy, Peace, Light and Special.
